Hoover Building

The Hoover Building  was designed for The Hoover Company by Wallis, Gilbert and Partners’ Archictectural Company. Completed in 1932, and listed in 1980, the building was in constant use until the late 1980s.

The building is the epitome of Art Deco styling and design of the period. Now mainly unused, the rear of the building has been taken over by Tesco, where people can actually buy their groceries from inside this amazing structure.
