14 Bike Co.

14 Bike Co are relatively new to relatively new to the industry, trading for just under a year only, but they offer something unique by remaining true to their British roots. All of their frames are built using British Reynolds Steel, and manufactured only in Britain.  A statement in their most recent catalogues sums up their aim neatly, “There was a time when British bikes were the best in the world and we intend to help push British bike manufacture back into the limelight”. I feel that this philosophy could be applied to endless amounts of products that were once made in England. I will not claim to know anything about the world of fixed gear bikes, but I definitely have an appreciation for 14 Bike Co. I also really like that, as with John Smedley, we are allowed an insight into the company with short profiles on their framebuilders and techniques.
