The William Morris Gallery

The William Morris Gallery, based in Walthamstow, London is the only public gallery dedicated to the life and works of William Morris. The collection is house in the building that the Morris’ family lived in between the years 1848 to 1856. The collection contains much of the original artwork and wood carvings for the prints that Morris is now famous for, along with early drawings and other artefacts from his life. Entry to the building is free, so it really is well worth having a look, and the grounds and gardens of the house are quite beautiful.
